Sangeet Nrityanjali 2026

With deep gratitude and renewed hope, we are happy to share that our annual concert Sangeet Nrityanjali will return this year. In 2025, the organization paused this cherished gathering as we mourned the unfortunate loss of our Founder–President’s beloved mother. During that difficult time, the warmth, understanding, and compassion shown by our community meant more to us than words can express.
Sangeet Nrityanjali is more than a concert—it is a celebration of the enduring beauty, depth, and spirit of Indian classical music and dance. The program brings together accomplished artists and audiences from all walks of life in a shared space where tradition, creativity, and cultural heritage can be experienced, appreciated, and passed forward. Rooted in the timeless traditions of the Indian performing arts, the evening creates a meaningful platform for both artists and communities to connect through the universal language of rhythm, melody, and movement. It welcomes seasoned connoisseurs, curious learners, and first-time listeners alike, inviting all to engage with the richness of these living traditions. Through this initiative, The Mahadeo Degwekar Foundation continues its commitment to nurturing the arts by supporting artists, fostering cultural dialogue, and creating opportunities for audiences to encounter the profound artistic and cultural legacy of Indian classical traditions.
We warmly invite you to this blissful celebration of Indian classical music and dance—an offering rooted in heritage, artistry, and heartfelt expression.
